Magnolia is the second-largest neighborhood in Seattle. Magnolia is located on a peninsula north of the city center, bordered by Elliott Bay and the Ship Canal. The views from Magnolia are amazing – Downtown Seattle and the Space Needle, Elliott Bay, the Olympics, and the Ship Canal are all great reasons to call this neighborhood “home”. But it isn’t just about the view. The area has a number of lovely older homes. Discovery Park is Seattle’s largest park and is home to a wide variety of wildlife. Discovery Park also includes old Fort Lawton and you can still enjoy viewing the officer’s homes and historic buildings. You can also enjoy the Farmers market, Fish market, great recreation center, restaurants, coffee shops and shops located throughout “The Village”.
